Our Story
Our journey so far
GOC Care is a not-for-profit organisation and a part of the Greek Orthodox Community of St George, Brisbane. We have been caring for the community for over 40 years. We are experienced in ensuring that people receive services that provide choice, enrich lives and assist to create or maintain community or social connections.
Our services include in-home supports and personal assistance, community access, social support, transportation services, short term and respite care and accommodation and support with daily living activities.

Meet our team
Alexandra Tsavasilis-Faull
Alexandra is an experienced senior executive, with 10 years exclusively in Aged Care, Disability Services, Community Services and Public Health.
She holds a Bachelor of Arts and Bachelor of Business (Law), from Monash University. This year she also was appointed to the Ageing Australia (formally ACCPA) Queensland State Member Council, and will hold this seat for three years.
Her passion for working in the Not-for-Profit / For Purpose sector, together with expertise in strategic planning, organisational governance, risk management and building high performing teams, plays a pivotal role in her success as a leader.
Alexandra’s focus at GOC Care is to steer the organization through the ‘once in a lifetime’ changes to the Aged Care Act, implement the new Support at Home program and ensure GOC Care remains a provider and employer of choice.
Alexandra holds dual Greek citizenship and is very proud of her Greek heritage. She is looking forward to working with and serving the clients of GOC Care.
Zoe Efthimiou
With over 10 years of experience working with GOC and GOC Care, Zoe oversees all aspects of the organisation’s financial operations. Having grown up within the GOC Care family, Zoe is deeply connected to the organisation’s mission and values. With more than 5 years of experience in Audit and Assurance, she brings a strong foundation in financial management. Zoe’s key strengths include financial compliance, process development, and driving strategic growth by working collaboratively across all departments. Her dedication to financial excellence plays a pivotal role in supporting the long-term success of GOC Care.
Sam Baker
With over 8 years of experience in the Aged Care sector, Sam currently serves as the Administration Manager for GOC Care. Sam’s role involves managing the day-to-day operations, ensuring seamless coordination and communication across departments, and maintaining compliance with industry standards. Over the years, Sam has gained extensive experience in various facets of business operations, including Human Resources, IT, Procurement, Finance, and Quality control.
Sam is dedicated to fostering positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders, ensuring that services consistently meet the needs of clients while adhering to GOC Care’s mission. Sam’s commitment to operational excellence supports the team in delivering high-quality, person-centred care to clients and their families.
Claire Gordon
Claire is our Disability Services Manager with over 25 years in this field. Claire is dedicated to advocating for and supporting individuals with disabilities. Her extensive experience allows for a deep understanding of accessible services, empowering her to make impactful changes. Claire is committed to ensuring inclusive environments, addressing the unique needs of everyone.
Denita Kingsley
With over 10 years of experience working with GOC Care as a Registered Nurse, Denita Kingsley leads the coordination of clinical services for Home Care Package clients. She is responsible for managing the clinical needs of clients, ensuring seamless coordination with Allied Health professionals, and overseeing the procurement of necessary equipment to support clients in maintaining their independence at home.
Denita leads a growing team of Registered and Enrolled Nurses, bringing a wealth of experience from her diverse nursing career, which spans public hospitals in Brisbane and community and military settings across Europe. Her commitment to client care and team development is at the forefront of her role.
Outside of work, Denita is an avid traveller and enjoys spending summers exploring Europe.
