It’s the most wonderful time of the year and we’re celebrating in true GOC Care style!
Our Christmas Break Room at DAC (Disability Activity Centre located at GOYA House) is officially open for registrations, and we’ve packed it full of holiday magic.
Monday 15th December to Friday 19th December
Open from 9:30am-3:30pm
We’ll kick off on Monday with DIY Christmas shirts, Santa hat decorating, and plenty of games, sensory fun, and Christmas trivia.
Tuesday is all about giving when we’ll make handmade cards and candles, practice wrapping gifts, and writing labels.
On Wednesday, we’ll bake and decorate Christmas cookies and gingerbread people, then turn up the cheer with karaoke, dancing, and percussion jams.
Thursday brings a community excursion to see to visit Christmas markets, followed by a relaxing session making gratitude journals and personal calendars.
We’ll finish the week in style on Friday by creating table centrepieces and name tags before our big ‘end-of-year’ party with a shared lunch, disco, photo booth, and fun awards!
